Patrick has a long and distinguished career in the restaurant industry as a sommelier, restaurant group wine director, wine distributor, manager and consultant. He earned his Advanced Sommelier certificate through the Court of Master Sommeliers in 2009 and is a Certified Specialist of Wine. His passion is to discover people’s individual favorites and wine styles and pair them seamlessly with fabulous food.

Patrick co-founded Curated Selections Distributors in 2014 as the Operating Partner. Prior to Curated Selections, Patrick established himself as a leading sommelier and wine director which culminated in 2012 after eight years as wine and beverage director of Maverick Southern Kitchens.

In November 2012, Patrick was voted as the top sommelier in Charleston by national and regional critics. His beverage skills have been featured in national magazines including GQ, Southern Living, Food & Wine and numerous other local and regional publications. His wine lists have been awarded the “Award of Excellence” 28 times from Wine Spectator.

Patrick also served as the beverage director for the prestigious Charleston Wine + Food Festival in 2015, where he was responsible for recruiting beverage talent in conjunction with implementing and managing over 100 festival events. He served on the Board of CHSWFF for three years.

Patrick’s current passions for wine are Champagne, Burgundy, Piedmont and from coastal regions around the world. Outside of wine, Patrick’s interests include food, cooking, travel, yoga, entertaining, boating and spending time with his wife, son, daughter and two pups.
