Membership

DIYC is a place where family and friends will come together, and new friendships will become lifelong bonds.

We believe that The Daniel Island Yacht Club will become a home away from home where shared experiences at the Club will enrich our members’ lives. We welcome prospective membership inquiries.

DIYC’s Junior Sailing Program has a diversified fleet including 19 420’s, 6 Opti’s, and 5 Open Bic’s. In addition there are 3 Boston Whalers as Coach boats. For Adult Sailing there are four Olin Stephens designed Shields Class Sailboats. The club has 72 moorings and a 36ft launch to ferry members to their boats.

Members also have access to individual power boat rentals and a little Harbor Whisper Jet that can that can be hired with a Captain for cruising.

We have one level of membership with two categories. Young Yachtsmans for members aged 21-39 with the initiation fee spread over time. For those age 40 and above we have a regular membership available. For more information please contact:
